Fingerzilla on the iPhone platform

Are you bored?
Wanna kill a little time?
Wanna kill little cities and little people?

Then this is a title you might wanna check out!

Starts off, your in, what looks like to be a "Sim city" type game, where your sole mission is to destroy EVERYTHING you see. All you have to do is just hammer away, finger tapping at anything and everything on the screen.

The graphic's aren't too bad. Kinda resemble that of a SNES type game. Sound isn't too bad either. Gameplay...well your finger gets tired after awhile tapping the crap out of the screen. Not a lot of strategy on this one, except for when a tank or chopper come for ya, its best to eliminate these as fast as u can.

Over all, it's a good time killer. Your finger will get a bit tired and a small amount of satisfaction for destroying a little digital city.

Brick Breaker for the Blackberry OS

Brick Breaker.... what else can I say?

Here we have a basic game, based on Atari's Breakout series.

Your a little paddle on the bottom of the screen, ya bounce a ball to break the bricks at the top.

This game is the best thing Blackberry has going for it! Screw call quality, push email and enhanced web browsing. Give me Brick Breaker and no one get hurt. There is a reason why, in the ever changing world of Blackberry handsets, that this game has survived to live on almost every Blackberry OS ;)

Across Age Ex for the iPhone

While sitting in the App store on my iPhone, I decided to type in Zelda to see what would pop up. After going through a few of the random searches, I came across this title.

It is over a 10MB app, so I had to run around the mall looking for a WiFi signal, so I can download this one.

After downloading this one, I anxiously booted up this game to see what was in store for me. And what I got was quite a surprise.

The opening FMV was wild, very well put together and really grabbed my attention. A typical fantasy outlook, with a stereotypical bad guy looking to conquer the world, as the valiant looking hero comes looking to save the day.

The graphics of the actual game are rival with that of a good solid SNES RPG. the music and the sounds in the game are quite good. Gameplay on the other hand, well I found was a bit crappy.

Controls were very hard to get use to. It took a bit for me to get my guy to move around. And the fighting was a bit lame to boot. You just walked into the baddies to attack.

The story line was actually really good tho. You are the young hero, looking to find some time mage to help on your journeys. She ends up being some kid, while her very large chested teacher hits on ya, and wants to do some "recreation" type activities. After passing up some tail (poor decision in my mind) you have to take on some cave of trials. After a run in with the boss, some more story line and thats it for the demo.

Wait a min.....a demo?

What a kick in the nuts!!! Thanks guys on that one.

Zombie Farm for the iPhone

Alright, the third and hopefully last game I'll blog about today.

So stepping outta the old games and into a new one...Zombie Farm.

It really is a version of Farmville, just for the more twisted and demented people....like me :D

The game is a angled birdseye view of a 2D farmer. Who plows his land, plants his loving crops and then harvests his veggies and zombies. Yes, he grows zombies. After growing about 16 (at first) Zombies, you get the option of raiding Old McDonnell's Farm. Ya, you grow zombies and make them raid your neighbor for money and a chance to get a brain! Ummmmm...storyline WIN!

The plunking guitar music in the back I kinda like and love how all the different zombies have their own type of voice that says "Brains".

Gameplay does take a bit to get a hold of, and trying to remember when all your crops are ready for harvest is a kinda pain in the ass. Since each veggie and zombie have different times.

Overall, this game is a great time killer and I would recommend this to ANYONE who has an iPhone. Plus the app is a free download...so go...hurry, get to tha appstore now.

DOOM RPG on the Moto V197

With all the games i have played in the last decade, it was hard to choose which titles would be in the first 3 reviews. this one was a definite must!

So, Doom RPG....what can I say about it?

The graphics were good, gameplay was smooth and easy to control. Storyline... yes, there was even a storyline in the game. So it wasn't just, "Hey I have a gun, lets shoot shit"

I have just found that they have revamped the game and actually re-released the game as an app for the iPhone.

So yes, this means this boy is gonna download it and re-live the days of a first person alien/monster serial killer.

WOOOOOHOOOOO

I will post scren shots and let ya guys know how the iPhone version is

Golf on Sony Ericsson T316

So after some long thinking about which game to review first, I have come to my first game that I actually spent a lot of time playing. Back in 2003 when I purchased this phone it came with 3 different titles. And the golf game, instantly stole my attention.

The game is a basic birdseye view of a miniputt course. You choose the angle and the strength of hit for your shot. It really took hours of playing the same holes. A really good game in my eyes. The graphics were pretty good for its time and the game play was very easy to get a hold of.

So if you find yourself back in 2003, and your by chance get your hands on a T316. All I have to say is.....How the hell did u get a time machine??????

I guess we start at the begining!

So ya like cellphones eh?
And you like games also?

Well with all the technology that has been out there in the last few years, it seems many company's have been trying to make a few extra dollars, by placing the ability to play games on their handsets. They attract us with short demo's that keep us coming back for more!

Many service providers and handset makers offer additional games to us, but are they any good?

My name is Ryan, and I'm going to begin a journey into the cellular gaming world. Were I will try out games for many different platforms and report what I truly feel about these titles.

These are my personal opinions, if you don't agree with something I said, I apologize now for it. Also this Blog is being setup for "Adult Content" for some mild language. Also I will try to update at least once a week, but things are subject to change! My real job has to come first!!!

And finally, if there is a game you guys want me to try out, please, drop me a line and I will get to it, when I can.

So with that.....Enjoy
